Heat 2 Rundown

Heat # 2 : 15 APRIL 2008

Heat 2 started off a bit later than planned due to the heavy rain that has been cleaning our air every evening the past few weeks!

Contestants this week included

1. A Child's Prayer (Azfar & Amir) - Singer-Songwriter-Musicians
2. Nor Fadhli- Vocalist
3. Brian Morais-Vocalist
4. Tony Leo-Vocals & Guitar


A Child's Prayer took to the stage with their cover of an English song, followed by an original composition of their choice. Their stage presence and vocal maturity truly impressed the crowd.



Fadli gave us a rendition of 'Inside Your Heaven' by Carrie Underwood that really made us sit up. He later sang 'Fever' with no accompaniment, not an easy feat.

Brian had problems with the Minus One CD he brought but truly got our attention with 'Heaven' by Brian Adams.

Tony Leo brought it home with 'He's Alive' a Gospel Rock number and later showed off with his skills on the guitar.


Local TV & Radio Personality WILL QUAH who happened to be in the audience joined LLEW MARSH at the piano for a humorous and fun rendition of 'CABARET' much to the crowd's delight.

Guest appearances at the attic are always a pleasant surprise!

Heat 1 Rundown

HEAT # 1 - 18 MARCH 2008

The contestants for the first heat of the competition included

1. Azhar Aziz - A Singer Songwriter who plays the guitar
2. Wei Jun - Dancer & Performer who also wrote and sang his own composition
3. Ayu - Lovely lass with a lovely voice
4. Nick Davis - Singer Songwriter who plays guitar

Azhar entertained us with his composition 'Rock & Roll Star' and impressed us with his skills on the electric guitar, effects and all.


Wei Jun sang a sweet ballad of his own composition and later entertained us with a dancy showy number which really got the crowd going.

The lovely Ayu delivered a heart wrenching rendition of 'Menghitung Hari' which made everyone sit up.




Nick Davis brought it home with his Indi Rock Star vocals and performance of his original piece.

Attic's Got Talent

ATTIC'S GOT TALENT

The attic announces an AMAZING TALENT COMPETITION for all you budding musicians out there.

Are you a soloist, duo, group or band?

Do you perform Pop, Jazz, Rock, Classical, Funk or Fusion Music?

Would you like to record a single?

Would you like fame, fortune and the works?

Well then, this competition is for you!

Over 6 months, we will have aspiring and budding talents strut their stuff and at each round we will choose 1 to be in the semi finals.

There will be 2 Parts of 6 Heats each.

One Winner will be chosen from each heat for a place in the Semi-Finals.

2 winners from each Semi-Final will proceed to the FINALS.

They will then compete for the title of Champion!

50% votes come from the Judges and 50% come from the audience

So come watch the newest acts in town and be part of making history!
